I bought a 20-foot box truck thinking I needed it to move my belongings from California to Texas.

Somewhere along the way, it became something entirely different.

And to explain why, I have to take you back more than twenty-five years.

What you just watched isn't the story.

It's the beginning of it.

A 20-foot box truck. A book I never expected to write. Three children. And events separated by more than twenty years that somehow became connected.

Some of it I understood when it happened.

Much of it I didn't.

And some of the most important parts of this story, I haven't told you yet.

That's the story I want to share with you—one piece at a time.

This started with a truck.

But it isn't really a story about a truck.

The truck is what brought me here. The story is everything.

On YouTube and Instagram, I'm going to tell that story from the beginning—the decisions, the mistakes, the people, the moments I still can't completely explain, and the events that changed my family forever.

Along the way, you'll watch me turn The Ghost into a home and a storytelling studio and discover, in real time, where this next chapter of my life takes me.

And eventually, this stops being just my story.

Because when the truck is finished, I want to take it on the road and start listening to yours.
